Anyone have a life-preserver?

...cruisin' to victory!

Above is Quack Bauer, Magic 94.9's entry in the Corporate Duck Race. Quack finished a respectful 15th out of 150 entries, finishing in 17 minutes, 5 seconds. Merk's Enterprises finished first, and Shirley Curry was the $5000 dollar winner in the family race!

Happy Apple Blossom!

A gaggle of Misfits and I kicked off the Apple Blossom Festival at AgriFun Old Time Country Fair at the Kentville Centennial Arena. It was Hunter and Andrew against Jerry and Kayla in a battle of endurance, stamina and buoyancy...

So there's no confusion...

I've been recieving emails from Habs fans and Leafs fans alike, saying that I've jumped on the Montreal band-wagon, and I am hear to say that nothing could be farther from the truth. I will always bleed Blue and White, I could just tell the way they were playing, the Habs were going to get through to the Eastern Conference Final. As a reminder to show where my loyalties lie...Kevin Bennett sent me this pick from back when I lost a bet after my Leafs lost to Montreal back in the regular season. The consequence...total humiliation in the Habs dressing room at the Kentville Centennial Arena...

Congrats Habs fans...

This was a pic of Len I was emailed just after the win last night^

Hats off to the Montreal Canadiens for their big 5-2 Game-7 win over the defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins last night. Habs fans here in the office, (Jerry Neville excluded...apparently due to the lack of Habs players in his office pool picks, he's been banished from the in-house habs fan club), have been having a good day, standing tall and wearing the colours proudly. As you can see, Len Hawley even had to come into the station today on his day off to sport his Jersey.

Don't let anyone tell you, you're too old to follow your dreams...

Nice paint job...

Kevin Bennett was on the Early Show this morning, as he is every Wednesday morning for the Kentville Rec Report, and proudly announced that the Kentville Centennial Arena recently purchased a new Zamboni. Kevin as a Habs fan, tried to tell me that the red, blue and white paint job was a coincidence(notice the brushes underneath are blue)...and had no connection to resembling the Habs' colours...haha yeah right.
