It's the Big Brother's Big Sister's Annual Golf tournament today at Ken-Wo in New Minas...PLEASE RAIN STOP!!! Regardless of the weather, I along with fellow Misfit Amanda Milne are ready to tackle the links and have a great time at this fantastic annual event put on with help from the New Minas Rotarians. Besides...now I can blame by terrible golf game on the rain! ;)
It's Kentville's turn to host the Relay for Life tonight. I had a blast last weekend in Middleton, where we raised $180,000 for cancer research thanks to all you who took part, and the cast and crew of Amanda Bent and company who organized the successful event. Tonight will be just as great, and our very own Len Hawley is set to MC the evening, so there will be sure to be many laughs throughout the night.
Have fun this weekend...and good luck to Nova Scotia's most famous former TimBit "Sid the Kid" and the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals!! Go Get 'em guys!
