The final numbers arrived this morning from last Friday's 18-hour Radio Marathon, and I was proud to present a cheque to Heather Myles and the Valley's Special Olympics for $2319.12.
Heather is the head coach of the Valley's Special Olympic Soccer team and was very appreciative of the hard work and generosity that went into the 18-hour broadcast.
It was a day I'll never forget...thanks to all of our sponsors and drivers...and mostly to the many vollunteers like Heather that help our athletes excel.
