First "un-official" face-off!

The Berwick and District Community Association was handed the keys of the Brand new $13 million dollar Kings Mutual Century Centre on the weekend, after an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration by hundreds in attendance. The K.M.C.C. features The Apple Dome Arena, and new Berwick and District Lions Club, which in itself is state-of-the-art and were generously preparing free beef-on-a-bun throughout the weekend.
Months ago Jerry Neville and myself had a chance to tour the facility in its infancy and it was very cool to see it completed.
According to George Moody, the chairman of the Centre's executive committee, Phase 2 and 3 can now begin, with a planned curling rink, fitness centre and library in the works.
