The Acadia Axemen football team hadn't won a game on their new FieldTurf since it replaced the Raymond Field grass in 2007. That is now history. The Football Axemen snapped a seven home game losing streak with a dominating 58-15 pounding of the Mounties in front of 1846 energized fans, some even painted from head-to-toe in Acadia blue, red and white. It was the start of what hopes to be an exciting 09 season, and Magic 94.9 is proud to be the Official radio Station of Acadia Athletics!!!
The Axemen return to Raymond Field Saturday night, for a battle under the lights against the visiting St. Mary's Huskies. Game time 7:00pm!
