HAHA...this kills me...Well well well...so New Minas is turning into little Hollywood! News broke today from the Maritime News Network that HBO Canada has moved into the old Kialand building on Commercial Street to shoot a 13-episode series surrounding a car salesman at a dealership. The car salesman role? Played by none other than The sideburns-sporting Brandon Walsh...I mean Jason Priestly...who played Walsh in "the original" Beverly Hills:90210. We don't know too much at this point, but they will be here for around 6 months or so and there will be casting calls for extra parts. So hopefully I can go back to my childhood acting days (extra roles in the Edison Twins and pool chemical commercials...oh yeah...that's right), grow some burns and find a plaid sports jacket and walk through a scene or two before the set wraps up...to be continued...
