One small sip for man...

So it was a big day at the International Space Station...one could say it was one small sip for man and a giant gulp of recycled urine for mankind. Astronauts aboard the space station celebrated a space first today. They drank water that had been recycled from their urine, sweat and water from exhaled air. They said ``cheers,'' clicked drinking bags and toasted NASA workers on the ground who were sipping their own version of recycled drinking water. The system was brought up to the space station last November -- but it hadn't been used because of testing and problems. It will save NASA lots of money because less water will need to be shipped up on the shuttle or cargo rockets. The recycling system is also needed for astronaut outposts on the moon and Mars. Many people find the idea of drinking recycled urine distasteful...I am by every means...one of them. I now have to find something else to do when I grow up, because now unfortunatley..."Astronaut" is off my list.

The worst kept secret came out yesterday...Sir Paul is officially heading to Halifax. Book it...July 11th...tickets go on sale next Friday. $305 for V.I.P's and $125 for the rest of us. I hear he's arriving by a yellow submarine.
Tomorrow is a big day..after the Early Show, I'm back in Berwick for the Furniture Liquidation sale, and then it's off to Valley Ford for a date with Mustang Sally.

Until then...enjoy the sun and the breeze, and don't let the little umbrella blow out of your Mojito.
